Flex Tap™ Secure+

The Ixia Flex Tap™ Secure+ provides an extra layer of security above that on Ixia’s standard Flex Taps. Secure+ taps provide additional security by protecting the network from malicious or accidental traffic injection from the monitoring infrastructure and prevent disruption,  while enabling continuous visibility of 100 percent of network traffic. As with all of Ixia’s Flex Taps, the Secure+ is flexible, supports speeds up to 100G, and is 100 percent passive. Flex Tap™ Secure+ is available in single mode and with a 50/50 split ratio. The Secure+ is purpose-built (patent pending) to block any data injected on the monitor ports, ensuring that accidental or intentional light/data injection is not possible. The insertion loss for traffic injected in the monitor port is greater than -40dB. With Flex Tap™ Secure+, users can implement up to 24 taps in a 1U rack space. The Secure+ is designed with the same form factor as Ixia’s LC-model Flex Taps and can be deployed side by side with all existing Flex Taps from LC to BiDi to MTP models.
